Vaccination Information Parents have the right to make an informed choice as to whether to vaccinate their children as per the recommended government protocol, delay vaccination or not to vaccinate at all. This decision needs to be taken with considerable care and thought. Vaccinating your children is not as safe as medical authorities would like you to believe. The following are links to official government health websites and to websites that question the safety of vaccinations. The Web site of the U.S. National Vaccine Information Center [www.nvic.org], a nonprofit organization, recommends that parents ask themselves eight questions before allowing their children to be vaccinated: (1) Is my child sick right now? (2) Has my child had a bad reaction to a vaccination before? (3) Does my child have a personal or family history of vaccine reactions, convulsions or neurological disorders, severe allergies or immune system disorders? (4) Do I know if my child is at high risk of reacting? (5) Do I know how to identify a vaccine reaction? (6)
Do I know how to report a vaccine reaction? (8) Do I know I have a choice?
Gardasil - the Cervical Cancer Vaccine? How effective is Gardasil in decreasing the incidence of cervical cancer? 100%? 50%? No one really knows because this question has not yet been answered. As of today, the Gardasil vaccine has never been proven to decrease the actual incidence of cervical cancer. In the studies that led to the vaccine's approval, the incidence of cervical cancer was not measured. Instead CIN (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) 2/3 and AIS (adenocarcinoma in situ) were used as the surrogate markers for prevention of cervical cancer because according to the vaccine's insert "CIN 2/3 and AIS are the immediate and necessary precursors of squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of the cervix, respectively." While this is true it is also true that CIN 2/3 and AIS usually do not lead to cancer. For example, according to published data, CIN2 only leads to invasive carcinoma 5% of the time and CIN3 only leads to invasive carcinoma 12% of the time
